Ron & Sharon Jackson - Institute Director (Ron) & Artistic Director, Green Room Coordinator, and Prayer Warrior (Sharon)

Ron Jackson serves at MNU as the director of the CALL. He holds degrees from Jefferson Davis College, The University of Alabama (Roll Tide Roll), Trevecca Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary and a doctorate in Ethical Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University (2018). Ron is available to speak in your local church for services and retreats, camps, community events, seminars, and other special events. In addition, Ron leads several workshops for youth and youth leaders focusing on leadership, meetings, and identity formation.

Sharon has worked in the Spiritual Life Office at MNU for over 15 years and currently serves the department as their Administrative Assistant.  Ron and Sharon have been married for 44 years, they have two married adult daughters Katie Weissend (Beau) and Kristi Chavoya (Andrew) and four grandchildren.

Ed BeLzer - CALLING AND VOCATIONAL DIRECTOR

Ed Belzer (one person calls him “Eddie”) comes from South Dakota, graduated from MNU and also Nazarene Theological Seminary.  He is a 30 year veteran of youth ministry, not because he can’t do anything else, but because that is what God called him to do.  Others have gone on to bigger and better things, but for Ed, The BEST “thing” are students!  Ed has been knocked out 2 times while in youth ministry, has spoken at dozens of retreats and camps, led mission trip both domestically and internationally, has served as a District NYI President, Field President, Secretary of the USA/Canada Council and served on the Global NYI Council.  Even with all of these experiences, what jazzes him up is his interaction with students!  Ed has one wife, Lori, of 39 years; and one daughter, Robyn.
The love of God is what gives Ed joy, the love of students is what gets him up in the morning!

Chris & Kristin Gilmore - MC/OASIS HOST'S, PASTOR'S IN RESIDENCE & INSTITUTE CHAPLAINS

Kristin and Chris Gilmore are co-pastors in Wichita, KS. They work covocationally in their community, Chris with the Mental Health America and Kristin as a Student Support Advocate in local schools. They have 3 children and 2 quirky dogs. Both are graduates of MidAmerica Nazarene University. Kristin also holds a MA in Bible and Theology from Trevecca Nazarene University. They are passionate about serving those who have been wounded by the Church and doing all they can to help us do better moving forward. They enjoy reading good books, hanging out in their neighborhood, and drinking too much coffee. Kristin dreams of adding more plants to the house and garden and Chris dreams of Philadelphia sports teams winning championships.

Larry Page - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR OF FLEX AND REFRESH ACTIVITY

Larry Page (LP) has served as a Student Pastor for 30+ years. He graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University (BA double major in Religion & English) & Baker University (Masters of Liberal Arts) a long, long time ago in a galaxy far away. His daily pursuit, apart from Jesus, is delicious meats, cold Mountain Dew, strong coffee and authentic southern sweet tea! If he isn’t hanging out with students & youth staff, you can find him making jerky, grilling meat or building something.

What drives LP is pointing students and their families in Jesus’ direction and see Christ fill their lives.

LP and Crystal have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children: Lauren & her husband Jeff, Alex & his wife Lydia. plus the newest additions to the family—2 grandbabies!

Ryan & Ashley Gage - WORSHIP GATHERING DIRECTOR (RYAN) - INTERN/RA AND SMALL GROUP DIRECTOR (ASHLEY)

Ryan and Ashley Gage are excited to serve as our worship leader and director of the interns/RA's and small groups for The Call for the 6th year!

The Gages, both graduates of Southern Nazarene University have collectively ministered for over twenty years in local churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, and Kansas and currently serve in  Nampa, Idaho. Ashley can be found on the campus of Northwest Nazarene University where she serves as the Associate Chaplain and Ryan serves as the Worship Arts Pastor at Nampa College Church. The Gages have had the opportunity to lead worship and speak at many events across the US and they count it a blessing to serve the Lord in this capacity! Ryan and Ashley have been married for twenty years and have four amazing kids. As a family they enjoy traveling together, music, competitive board games, and laughing together!

Katie Rose Weissend - director of Worship

Katie Rose Weissend is the Worship and Prayer Pastor at College Church in Olathe, Kansas. She has served that community for over a decade, leading others into authentic encounters with Jesus through worship. She is married to her husband Beau and together they are raising four kids while serving in ministry together.

Trinity Ozias - REGISTRAR

Trinity serves as Co-Next Gen Pastor at PittNaz in Pittsburg, Kansas, where she ministers to children, students, and young adults from birth through age 25. She is a 2024 graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a B.A. in Youth and Family Ministry and is passionate about helping the next generation grow in their faith and discover God's calling on their lives.

Originally from Olathe, Kansas, Trinity has known Ron and Sharon since she was young and is especially grateful for the role The Call played in her own journey. As a student, The Call helped her discern God's direction for her life and ministry, ultimately leading her into pastoral ministry. She is excited to invest in future ministry leaders and encourage students as they seek God's calling. When she's not at church, you'll likely find her spending time with students or trying to convince her Basset Hound, Copper, to go for a walk.

Paul & Angie Meinke - HOUSING DIRECTORS & RES LIFE HOSTS

Paul and Angie have been serving in ministry together for more than 20 years and love investing in their community. Paul currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Emporia First Church, while Angie works with the Kansas District Church of the Nazarene.

They’re proud parents to two amazing kids, Mya and Jackson. Paul and Angie are both graduates of MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). Paul earned a BA in Education and an MA in Educational Technology, and Angie holds a BA in Business Communications with a minor in Accounting.

In their free time they love to travel and hike the mountains in Colorado.
